This is your nice dentist

There's only one way to successfully produce an event like
this - find experienced and dedicated volunteers who want to
help; then never let them leave.  Fortunately, we have them
and they're all committed to making this tour the best ever.

Wayne Broadhag returns as your tour's "Route Master."
His many years of experience as both rider and route designer
make Wayne uniquely qualified to plan your cycling routes.
Wayne promises that "you'll find a cycling route for every
cycling ability.  The rides will be fun and, where possible,
include something along the way that's interesting or relates
to the area."  His remote ride this year includes one of
"cycling's sacred shrines," the Columbia River Gorge Historic
Hwy.  Experience spectacular belvederes, covered bridges, tree
tunnels and waterfalls.  It doesn't get any better than this.

Nancy Broadhag will provide you with lots of ideas on what
the Portland area offers for activities.  You'll find "The Rose
City" filled with many (indoor & outdoor) options on where to
spend your extra time.  Nancy's recommendations should be a
big help for all first time visitors.

Norma Shechtman, back from her ascent of Mt. Everest, is
joining us again to plan our hiking excursions.  Norma knows
her business and is more than enthusiastic about introducing
you to beautiful Oregon... on foot.

Arlene Sheff is available to assist you with hotel issues.
She is also in charge of making the "Happy Hour" happy and
    planning our group food event.

Richard Sheff is the tour's "Directeur Sportif," web master,
jersey designer and head of the tour's complaint department.
If you enjoy what's planned, tell the volunteer who put it
together.  If you don't, please see me.

You'll be pleased that these sponsors are returning...
If you need a service or product they can supply, give
    them a try.

Two Wheels One Planet has everything you'll need
to fully enjoy your saddle-time while visiting Portlandia.
Find out why Kristen, the Planet's leader, is so popular in
Orange County's cycling universe.  Treat yourself to a brand
new Trek at a spectacular price before leaving on the Grand
Tour.  You'll find "The Planet" in 2 convenient locations:
    El Toro (949) 581-8900 & in Costa Mesa (949) 646-7717.

Cycle Pro's top wrench, Juan Martinez returns as our
recommended mechanic.  His promise is simple: Make sure
that your bike remains problem- free every mile you're on
tour.  Avoid breakdowns.  Have Juan check-out your machine
before leaving.  Bike exam and adjustments are gratis.  You'll
find Juan in Lake Forest at: 22762 Aspan,
Suite 213.  For an appointments call 949-929-9238.

Dr. Colin Suzman is not only "The Nice Dentist," and
a sponsor, he's my (the Directeur Sportif) dentist too.  If
you need some work on your teeth, see Dr. Suzman.  He's
equipped with all the latest equipment and he really
knows his "bidness."  Find out more about him here:
