Portland's answer to the
Golden Gate Bridge

The Frugal Traveler suggests that "you spend your saddle-time
seeing the sights, not working up a sweat driving from place to
place."  The Grand Hotel is perfectly placed to allow you to
    do just that.

The beautiful Grand Hotel is located 10 miles south of
downtown Portland, in the quaint Village of Tigard.  Your
lodging is a Trip Advisor’s: 2012 Certificate of Excellence
winner.  Check it out for yourself at lemmeseetheGrandHotel.
Your "Grand Tour" room rate is a budget pleasing
  • $109 per night for single occupancy
  • $115 for double occupancy
Your Grand amenity package includes:  hot breakfast buffet
daily, covered self parking, RV parking, Internet, indoor pool,
hot tub, limited local shuttle, gym, laundromat and easy access
to one of Oregon's premier shopping centers.

Now that you've chosen to join us, here's what you need to do

Another reason to love this year's destination is access.
At only 955 miles from SoCal, Portland provides lots of
transportation options.  Convenient and inexpensive flights
to PDX depart from everywhere.  Driving is freeway fast and
riding the rails on Amtrak's "Rapido" will probably take you
    an 8 day week.

We can get your bike & luggage to Portland from Irvine.
Michael Anderson makes the process convenient, cost
effective and his truck allows you to ship your bike without
disassembly.  We're fortunate to have Michael on board to
handle all the details.  Details will follow on tour updates.
